Quantum Transport on One-Dimensional Networks with Long-Range Interactions

The talk gives a summary of results from the application of the continuous-time quantum walk model to quantum transport of excitons on discrete structures in comparison the behaviour of classical particles described by the continuous-time random walk. Effects of modifications to one-dimensional systems with nearest-neighbour interactions are presented. The specific systems that were considered are small-world networks and networks with regular long-range interactions.
